Cooperation agreement with the University of Damascus
CEO of Ebdaa Bank, Adeeb Sharaf: The bank has complete flexibility in designing any product that suits students’ needs. Continuing its approach to be an effective mechanism for self-empowerment, the Ebdaa Microfinance Bank signed a cooperation agreement with the Directorate of Technical Institutes at the University of Damascus. The content of the agreement aims to enhance and support joint scientific and training cooperation, link the university with state institutions and society, and achieve integration in the scientific and practical fields. The CEO of the Ebdaa Microfinance Bank, Mr. Adeeb Sharaf, stated that this ambitious partnership with the University of Damascus comes in order to serve the bank’s objectives in financing micro-enterprises, especially those that students wish to start during their studies or after graduation, and in line with the bank’s direction towards expanding the segment of beneficiaries of the package. The loans he provides, explaining that the number of borrowers from the bank has reached 70,000.
